BRAIN TREE LEARNING SOLUTIONS – Therapy : INPP Primitive Reflex Inhibition Program (Movement Program)
INPP (The Institue of Neuro-Pysiological Psychology) www.inpp.org.uk was established in 1975 by Dr Peter Blythe. It is a drug free and non invasive treatment which can help children overcome specific learning difficulties, coordination difficulties and behavioural difficulties. It is designed to inhibit the primitive reflexes and mature the postural reflexes. In doing so the child will experience changes in the ease in which they can do things with their bodies that will make formal learning more natural and less frustrating.,/p> <,h2>BRAIN TREE LEARNING SOLUTIONS – Therapy : Johansen Individualised Sound stimulation(sound Therapy)
Johansen Individualised Ausitory Stimulation (JIAS) was developed in Denmark by Dr Kjeld Johansen, director of the Baltic Dyslexia Research Laboratory (See www.dyslexia-lab.dk) from the original work of Christian A Volf. The program involves listening to an individualised CD for 10 minutes a day. CD’s are reviewed every 8 weeks. The CD’s cover a range of different frequencies that stimulate the brain neural pathways. By stimulating them is such an intense and individual way you are giving the child a second chance to develop good auditory processing skills. The aim is to develop the ears so that the child gets as close as possible to the optimum learning curve as to allow them to hear individual language sounds better, to reduce their auditory sensitivity, encourage the ears to work together better to enable learning in an academic setting to be more natural to reduce frustration.
